James' Interests

I have a lot of interests, actually. Unfortunately I don't have time to pursue them all.

Technology and computer programming started off as a hobby and I still tinker in my free time. I got seriously involved with photography in high school and continue to enjoy it as a hobby. One day I would like to get a studio setup so I can do more studio product type photography like I did in Commercial Photography in high school. I was SCUBA certified by PADI several years ago, but I haven't been diving for a long time (hopefully that will change soonish).

In 2004 Fred introduced me to BurningMan. I attended the regional event up in Seattle and the main festival later that year. It was so much fun! We went with a group of local people we put together who are all like minded individuals (we all have corporate background, but know how to have fun too). We're definitely going back in 2005, hopefully with even more like minded people!

For the record, James' programming efforts are turbo charged by MountainDew. I have probably consumed more of this stuff over the last 20 years than almost anyone else (other than fellow programmers, of course).
