Both individuals have a long history of collaboration dating back to 1988 where they met at DeVry. Over the years they have have worked on many projects together as both consultants and direct employees of companies. This work included software development, GUI design, technical management, marketing and technical support, Knowing they had all the skills necessary to start and manage a successful business SnappyWare was born in 2002. The consumer shareware market was chosen as it appeared to be both lucrative and within easy reach.
At the time both Fred & James were employed full time, which greatly restricted the amount of time and effort directed towards SnappyWare. In mid 2004 James left his employer to pursue independent consulting and business opportunities (including SnappyWare). Fred followed shortly thereafter, leaving his employer as well to focus on similar interests. As a result SnappyWare expects to have multiple shareware offerings become available during 2005.
While not directly a part of SnappyWare, James and Fred offer consulting services individually and as a team. Which resulted in the SnappyWare Services section of this web site.
